Sr. Pricing Analyst

Do you have a Bachelor’s Degree along with at least 5 years of in-depth knowledge of pricing and budgeting experience as a Sr. Pricing Analyst within a law firm? Our client, a large law firm with a community feel of a small office in downtown Washington, DC has an opening for a Sr. Pricing Analyst to support the Firm’s attorneys through the development of pricing arrangements and client budgets. The Sr. Pricing Analyst will also assist in the design of analytical tools and reporting systems to support the development of alternative fee arrangements, monitor performance against budgets, and assess the financial impact of pricing arrangements.
This position will be a hybrid of remote and in-office work, so they are most welcoming to fully vaccinated candidates.
This department is growing which means that exciting opportunities are available for those who want to move up in the department! This is a newly created position, and responsibilities will include developing financial models and analytics in support of pricing proposals; compiling and analyzing data and historical statistics relating to revenue, realization, and profitability; and providing support to partners for pricing requests, including preparation of fee estimates, development of appropriate pricing approaches and the communication of fees and value pricing. Will also work with different management groups and attorneys within the firm utilizing tools and analytics to guide rates and pricing strategy to maximize profitable growth.
This person will also assist with the development and reporting of internal department metrics to showcase the impact the Pricing Department has on the firm; and develop and maintain pricing databases using historical data mined from past matters which can be used to create more accurate fee estimates for partners during client pitches.
At least 5 years of in-depth knowledge of pricing and budgeting experience, with minimum 3 years of law firm experience is required along with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics from an accredited college or university. Experience with law firm technology including 3E and Iridium is also required. Experience with Business Intelligence software applications such as PowerBI or Tableau is also needed.
Experience managing this within a law firm is necessary since a solid understanding of the life cycle of litigation, dispute, or arbitration engagements is required as well as strong analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills.

Do you have an Accounting or Finance Degree along with at least 5 years of Staff Accountant experience? Our client, a national litigation boutique law firm located near Dupont Circle is looking for a Staff Accountant to become a core member of their Accounting Department team.
This is a terrific firm with a collaborative environment, and the Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing accounting, bookkeeping and payroll functions as follows:
- Oversees the payroll process to include computation of required and voluntary deductions, timesheets, maintenance of payroll records and reports.
- Assures that wages, salaries, and deductions are paid in accordance with established policies.
- Performs variance analyses and prepares account reconciliations
- Performs recurring monthly journal entries.
- Provides support with preparation of monthly Financial Statement package and variance analysis.
- Assists with annual budget process.
- Provides support with annual financial, 401(K), tax and Workers’ Compensation audits.
- Completes daily bank reconciliations for all offices.
- Facilitates the processing of monthly benefit insurance invoices and reconciles benefits and payroll deductions.
- Works with payroll company to create and distribute year-end W-2 and 1095-C tax forms.
- Maintains employee payroll records as required.
A Four-year degree from an accredited college or university in accounting or finance is required, along with at least 5 years of accounting, finance and payroll experience. Strong MS Excel and payroll software knowledge is a must.

This is a terrific firm with a collaborative environment, and duties will include drafting, reviewing, and analyzing legal documents as requested by attorneys; maintaining pleadings, files, calendars, and other case material in electronic databases; and gathering and circulating case materials to the project team.
